Project Management of 5 Solar Parks in Mauritania, Africa, of 9,6MWp totally

Our customer undertook the erection of mechanical and electrical works in five (5) Solar Parks in Mauritania, Africa of totally 9,6 MWp and more specifically at Ajoune (2,1MWp), Aleg (2MWp), Boulenour (2MWp), Boutilimit (1MWp), El Chami (2,1MWp).

Project’s value 1.120.000 USD – Duration: Three (3) months – June to August 2016

More specifically, the projects were:

Our team’s (administrative staff, engineer-construction manager, engineer-on site project manager) obligations were:

  • Contract negotiation:
    Apart for the price, which was given directly by the customer, we negotiated all terms and conditions
  • Contract administration:
    Follow up of contractual works, claim of extra-contractual works, milestones-certifications of works, invoicing, payment, final project acceptance, customer’s evaluation
  • Project planning, cost estimation, budget analysis:
    We were asked and we delivered the projects in time with 20% profit.
  • Preparation and provision of Method Statement and Risk Assessment
  • Setting up crew:Selection, negotiation, employment agreements, payroll, evaluation – We had forty (40) employees with rotation to all parks
  • Material and Plant Management
  • Quality Control & H&S Management
  • Crew’s Travel Arrangement and Accommodation
  • Suppliers Selection

  • Contractual value: 1.120.000,00 USD
  • Claim extra-contractual value: 15.000,00 USD
  • Profit: 20% (customer’s expectation 20%)
  • Delivery: in time (within 3 months of operations)
